Yesterday I did some tilling for my daughter-in-law with a newly acquired Troy-Bilt Pony. Since I live about an hour away, I tried to be prepared by taking a variety of tools along for any repairs or adjustments that might be needed. I was almost done when I hit something in the ground and stalled the engine. I pulled the rope and ended up with all of it in my hand. Fortunately the engine started. I was very careful over that particular area while completing the tilling job. As prepared as one tries to be, it seems you can't win 'em all.
